On my visit, I indulged in a slice of their signature pie, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. What a cool spot. Craft pizza and a beer wall. All set in the awesome space that was a fire station for a hundred years. The people are great and the whole experience is amazing.
Everything was amazing! I had been wanting to try the pickle pizza for a long time and finally found one made with Texas "Best Maid" pickles. (Wanted to try to spicy one, but was scared due to traveling) Loved all the decorations and support to all the first responders. Everyone working was super friendly.
While in town for a wedding our group stopped in for a few beers and Pizza. Service was fast and friendly. Beers were cold with several local brewery selections. Pizza came out fast and tasty. Great upbeat, firehouse ambiance. Perfect spot for catching up with family and friends.
Not craft pizza, not Pizza Hut. The Hero and Pepperoni were flavorful. Good pizza. We ate on the back porch, the inside is very noisy.
To my wife and I, the pizzas are the best and it's mainly because they are thin crust and we have them bake them well done. We like a little char on the crust. Toppings are generous and the pizza comes out pipping hot! Service is good at the counter where you order and the person who brings your food to the table. Drinks and beer are self service and they have a great selection of local craft beer. The restaurant is an actual old firehouse and the interior theme is what I would expect. Firehouse memorabilia adore the walls and display case. Fun fact, they have a bed and breakfast located on the top floor of the firehouse!!
Pizza was top notch, beer selection was fantastic! We got the jalapeño popper pizza and street taco pizza. Both were phenomenal. The beer wall was something I've never seen but would like to see it everywhere! You get a beer card and pay by the ounce, pour it yourself. I was able to try several beers without having to get a full pint of each. Service was great, this place was totally full inside so we sat on the outside patio overlooking a park.
What a cool spot for Pizza... Ye Old Firehouse with a beer wall no less. Have not seen this before but a cool way for self serve beer by the ounce. Local Beers, National Crafts and more make up the 24 different brews to choose from. Loving it by the ounce too. Had to try more than one to find just the right one for the pizza experience here. Pepperoni Pizza and a Pepperoni, Sausage Shroom to have dinner today and lunch tomorrow! The Pizza Sauce snd cupping pepperoni pizza is awesome. Slight burn to the pepperoni and crust provided the perfect combination of deliciousness. 10" pizza is a great size per person or two chitlins. Pepperoni Sausage Mushroom pizza was nice but needed a bit more cook time with the added toppings. Needed done cheese to hold it all together but dang good flavors. The beer wall is cool too especially if you like fruity beers and pilsners. Lacking a good amber ale but it may just be a selection type if night. I'm coming back if I gave to stay here again.
Really great place, very casual. They have a great self-service beer wall with a card that you open the tab at the cash register. Then you get charged by the ounce. Excellent opportunity to try multiple craft beers, including local and fill up on what you love. The pizza is outstanding! Crust is fabulous, service is quick. Head up to the front of the restaurant to place your order and get your beer card. They will bring you your pizza to your table.
Super fun atmosphere! Beer wall is simply amazing and has a great selection. Ordered the mushroom pizza- best pizza I have had in years! Definitely kid friendly and can accommodate large parties. Outside seating available as well. Triple bonus- very clean bathrooms! Give this place a try, you won't regret it!
